| 内容記述 | 近年，家族単位で定住する移住外国人が増加し，母子保健ニーズが高まっている．本研究は，長野県 の外国人登録者の約4割を占めるブラジル人に注目し，ブラジル人幼児の健康状態と生活習慣の特徴を探ることとした．研究対象は，県内の一都市にて，3歳児健康診査を受診したブラジル人幼児33人と，比較対象としての 日本人受診者である．健診の台帳より、生活習慣との関係の深い肥満とう歯の罹患状況を中心にデータを抽出し, 統計学的に比較・分析した． 分析の結果，本研究のブラジル人幼児は日本人幼児より肥満の者が多く，その要因としては，「活動量が少な い」，「糖質の摂取頻度が高い」等の肥満のリスクとなる生活習慣の特徴が見られた．う歯については，ブラジル 人幼児の生活習慣にう歯を形成するリスク要因は多く見られたが，平均う歯保有数は日本人より0.67本少なかった．これらの違いに影響を与えた要因については，本研究の範囲で述べるには限界があるものの，ブラジル人幼児の育児環境と保護者の育児姿勢の違いが影響している可能性が考えられた． | |||||

| 内容記述 | This research focused on the Brazilian mothers and children in Nagano who account for 40% of foreign residents registered in the prefecture. The purpose of the study was to investigate the health status and lifestyle habits of the Brazilian toddlers. The data was obtained from the health examination records for 3-year old Brazilian children and 3-year old Japanese children. The physical data of the Brazilian toddlers were statistically compared to the Japanese toddlers and the related factors were analyzed. Results indicated that the Brazilian toddlers tended to be more obese than the Japanese. The suspected contributing factors were 1) the low level of physical activity 2) the high carbohydrate intake and 3) irregular feeding of snacks (time and amount). In spite of practicing undesirable lifestyle habits for the teeth, the Brazilian toddlers' average number of caries was 0.67 teeth less than the Japanese. The Brazilian children's frequent tooth brushing and a large amount of milk intake were considered to be the preventive habits against caries. The findings may be influenced by the differences in childrearing environments and parental attitudes of the two groups. In summary, the Brazilian toddlers possess some desirable lifestyle habits that can prevent caries. However, their lifestyle habits could also be risks for formulating obesity and caries. Providing information on preventing child obesity and caries was proposed as an urgent need for the Brazilian mothers. | |||||
