| 内容記述 | 終末期における生活と介護に関する高齢者の意向について明らかすることを目的とした。地域で暮らす健康な高齢者65歳以上の32名を対象とし,グループインタビュエを行った。分析は,終末期の生活と介護に関する気持ちや考えについて質的に分析しカテゴリー化した。分析の結果,『自分が描く理想』,『見えないこれからの自分』,『家族や周囲の人との関係における自分』という3カテゴリーが抽出された。『自分が描く理想』とは,【人生を自分らしく生きたい】という高齢者個人の意思を反映しており,【自然に逝きたい】ということも自分らしくあの世へ行きたいという表れであった。『見えないこれからの自分』とは,現時点における自身の健康や生活からは終末期や要介護状態になることが想像し難く, 自身の将来像について容易に語れない状況であることを示していた。『家族や周囲の人との関係における自分』とは,高齢者の終末期の生活や介護の意向として,家族や周囲の人が大きく関与することを示していた。これらより,高齢者は,終末期における生活と介護の意向として,『自分が描く理想』と『見えないこれからの自分』の狭間でバラン気をとりつつ,『家族や周囲の人との関係における自分』を通して周囲の人との関係性や距離感を推し量っていることが考えられる. | |||||

| 内容記述 | This study aims to identify preferences of elderly people for end-of life and nursing care. We conducted group interviews with 32 healthy elderly people at and above 65 years of age, living in the community. The interview inquired about ideas of preferences for end-of-life and nursing care and was qualitatively analyzed and categorized. The analysis yielded three categories: "the own ideal" of the interviewee, "inability to distinguish the self', and "the self in relation to family". "The own ideal" of the interviewee reflects the personal will of an elderly person who 'wishes to live as this person wishes and 'wishes to die a natural death' also reflects the wish to be as one is. The "inability to distinguish the self' implies, a situation where the person cannot imagine his or her end-of-life or state requiring care as different from the present healthy state, and cannot simply tell about his or her own future state. "The self in relation to family" shows that family, friends, and acquaintances have a strong influence on the preferences of these elderly people for end-of life and nursing care. The findings suggest that elderly people are weighing up the relationship with or distance from those close to him or her through "the self in relation to family", while balancing "the own ideal" and "the inability to distinguish the self' in relation to preferences for end-of life and nursing care. | |||||
