本調査の目的は，胃切除術後患者の退院直後から３ヶ月間の在宅での生活が確立するまでの移行期における患者家族の介護内容と日常生活状況を調べることにより，看護ニーズを明らかにし，看護支援モデル構築に向けて行う介入研究の質問紙開発のための資料とすることである． 胃切除術後患者の主介護者２名を対象に，健康状態と生活・介護内容およびその対処方法を面接調査した．調査時期は退院２週間後，１ヶ月後，２ヶ月後，３ヶ月後の４時点とした． 主介護者は，患者の生活のみならず他の家族員の生活にも配慮しており，疲労の蓄積を強く訴えていた．また， 患者の症状や病状に不安を感じ，試行錯誤しながら対処していたが，看護師からの介入は全くなかった． 以上から，主介護者には，主介護者自身の健康管理と患者の回復に合わせた介護方法という２側面への継続的な支援の必要性が示唆された． |

The purpose of this study was to specify the nursing needs of family caregivers who provided nursing care for their patients who received gastrectomy operation, and to obtain the data for develop questionnaire of intervention research that construct the nursing care model. We looked at the familiesﾕ care giving process for the patients who had gastrectomy operation and their daily lives from the point of their discharge from hospital to the three-month point. Date was collected from 2 family caregivers. Semi-structured interviews were done at four point times after patients discharged from hospital : two week point, one month point, two month point and three month point. Caregivers took care of other family members in addition to providing nursing care for their patients. As a result they complained tired feelings. Caregivers were also anxious about condition of patients, and tried to cope with difficulties in providing patients care, while receiving no support from nursing professions. Results suggested two nursing needs for the caregivers of post gastrectomy patients in their home care: 1) providing continuous care for caregiver's health care 2) educating care methods and skill which matched with patient. |
