| 内容記述 | 文部科学省の「看護学教育の在り方に関する検討会」は，看護実践能力育成におけるロールモデルの 有用性を示している．しかしながら．看護分野において，ロールモデルに対する共通概念が浸透しているとは言い難い．そこで，看護教育に関連のあるロールモデルについて，過去の論文を検討した結果，ロールモデルに， 1）人物，2）生存する，3）身近な存在，４）目上，5）看護関係者，などの条件が課されており，受け手が自由に決めてよいはずのロールモデルが，狹い枠組みの中で捉えられていることが判明した．また，ロールモデル の決定者は看護学生や新人看護職者ではなく，研究者や教育者であった．さらに，看護教育におけるロールモデルは，看護学生等の教育手段としてではなく，むしろ研究者の考える理想像に，教育的立場となりうる人物を近づけるための教育的手段として考えられていた． | |||||||

| 内容記述 | In Japan, the term "role model" is used in the official report issued by an advisory panel of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and the report showed the usefulness of role model in nursing education. Unfortunately, however, the term "role model" is neither spread well nor shared common perceptions among nurses. As a result of reviewing past literatures related to nursing education, the role model in nursing included such characteristics as 1) human beings, 2) alive, 3) people around, 4) elders and betters, and 5) nurses. Moreover, it was proved that choosers of role model were not nursing students nor new graduate nurses, but educators and researchers in nursing. It was suggested that the role model in the field of nursing education was thought as means to improve senior nurses' performance rather than to develop nursing students and fresh nurses. | |||||||
