本研究は，プリセプターが捉えたプリセプティの就職半年後の状況とプリセプターの対応について明らかにし，ブリセプターのあり方を考察することを目的として，14名のプリセプターを対象に半構成的面接調査を実施した．プリセプティの就職半年後の困難や課題として.「指示されないとできない」「アセスメントができない」「援助技術が実践できない」「仕事配分や時間管理ができない」「他者の支援を得ることができない」などが抽出された．それに対してプリセプターは，≪円滑な業務遂行≫≪専門知識･技術の習得の促し≫≪他のスタッフから指導を得るための調整≫などの業務遂行のサポートを中心にしており，プリセプティが必要としている精神的なサポートは不十分であることが推察できた．また看護経験が少ないプリセプターは，実践能力に不安を抱えながら プリセプティに関わっていることなどから，プリセプターのあり方としては，業務遂行のサポートと精神的サポートの両方の役割を担わせるのではなく，精神的サポートの役割だけにすることが望ましいのではないかと考える． |

This study was conducted by means of semi-structured interviews of 14 preceptors to identify their perceptions of and responses to the preceptees' status at 6 months of work. The extracted difficulties and challenges faced by preceptees were: "Duties preceptee cannot perform without direction,” “Preceptee unable to make patient assessment" ,“Preceptee unable to use appropriate nursing skills”, "Preceptee unable to allocate work load and time adequately” and "Preceptee unable to obtain help from others". The preceptors' responses to these perceived statuses were centered on giving the following support to the preceptees: "Help them work smoothly” ,“Help them develop professional knowledge and skills” and “Arrange for coaching from other nurses". It was assumed that the preceptees were not given sufficient mental support that they needed. It was also found that preceptors lacking nursing experience were apprehensive in interacting with their preceptees. Researchers feel it desirable for preceptors to give only mental support rather than play the roles of both supporter and teacher at once. |
