本研究は，A 看護大学を卒業した新人看護者15名を対象に，職務上の困難と一人前になるまでに欲し い支援を明らかにすることを目的として質問紙調査を実施した． 新人看護者の就職後1ヶ月，3ヶ月の困難には『看護技術』『専門知識』『業務遂行』に関するものが多く，看護 の対象を目前にして即，対応を求められても十分応えられないために生ずる困難であることが明らかになった． 欲しい支援は，看護部や看護管理者に対して研修企画や勤務調整を含む環境の調整，先輩看護者やプリセプター に対して看護技術の指導や業務遂行の援助，プリセプターや同期の看護者に対して精神的な支え，母校に対して 学習の場や精神的な支えであった． 教育機関としては，新人看護者のおかれている状況を理解し，相談にのり，学ぶ場を提供することが求められ ていると考えられた. |

The following study was conducted by means of questionnaires given to 15 newly graduated nurses from A University of Nursing for the purpose of clarifying specific support needed to help them develop into effective nurses. In the first and third months of employment, newly graduated nurses face a number of difficulties, most of which are concerned with“ nursing skills,”“ technical/professional knowledge” and the actual “performance” of nursing care, which they fail to give in an adequate manner when faced with patients. The support they need includes training and adjusted working hours, mentoring by more experienced nurses and preceptors in regard to techniques and the actual performance of care, as well as mental support from preceptors, colleagues, places of further learning and the nursing school. The study concluded that educational institutions are obliged to fully understand the difficult situations faced by newly-employed nurses and to provide venues for consultation and the further development of their training and education. |
