| 内容記述 | 本研究は，学生が実習前後において精神障害者に抱くイメージとその変化を明らかにすることを目的とした．対象者は，１９９８～２０００年度の精神看護実習に参加した長野県看護大学生２３６ 名 である．自由記述による回答を質的に分析してカテゴリー化し，カテゴリー毎に実習前後のデータ数を比較した． その結果，精神障害者に抱くイメージとして《疾患と症状》《特有の性質》《学生自身の思い》など，実習前１４， 実習後１８のカテゴリーが抽出された．また実習前後におけるイメージは，学生の生活体験や授業の知識によるものから，実際に精神障害者と接した経験によるものへと変化していた．以上のことから教授側には，各学生が抱いたイメージをふまえ，学生が精神障害者の実際のあり様を理解し，精神障害者に対し疾患を持ちながら生活している人として全体像を描けるような教育を行うことが必要であると示唆された． | |||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to examine what kind of images the students of Nagano College of Nursing have about mental patients and to seek effective nursing education on the basis of the results. This survey has been done for ３ years from １９９８ to ２０００ and covered ２３６ students in total. Open-ended questionnaires were distributed to the students at the first and the last day of their psychiatric nursing practice in hospitals（valid response rate: ９８．７ % ― the first day, １００% ― the last day）. As a result of a content analysis, １４ categories were extracted from the former response and １８ categories were extracted from the latter response. Students’image tends to change from what was based on our class and their own life experiences to what was based on their experiences in clinical settings. Therefore, students need support to understand mental patients as a unitary human being. |
