In support activities in the evacuation center, the principles learned from JOCV experience, namely,“ use resources available on-the-spot, and coordinate and collaborate” and“ provide timely support in accordance with people’s needs” were applied, and these seem to be common principles that apply equally to support in the disaster-affected region and international volunteer in developing countries.
