A大学2年次に地域の老人クラブ会員とともに一人暮らし高齢者会員への家庭訪問実習を行った学生99名のうち,研究協力への同意が得られた35名の実習記録を分析した.高齢者への家庭訪問実習での学生の学びのカテゴリーとして,【高齢者理解につながる要因の気づき】【対象の全体像へのアセスメントに関する学び】【対象との信頼関係構築の重要性】【自分の生活に引き寄せ考えた学び】【継続的な健康行動への支援に関する学び】の5つが抽出された.学生は高齢者の生活の場に入り,「自助」の主体としての高齢者の生活の営みや,老人クラブ会員の「互助」活動の実際に触れて,地域住民の一人である自分の生活と比較して学んでいた.今後の在宅看護実習は,地域住民との早期関わりによる「生活者」の理解と看護職の柔軟な側面的支援の必要性,健康づくりに関連する地域課題の共有と解決のプロセスの理解,を学修する必要性が示唆された.","subitem_description_language":"ja","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"This study aims to understand the learning that students have acquired through home-visit training for the elderly, and to examine the learning about self-help and mutual help, which are informal support methods in a communitybased comprehensive care system, to elucidate ideal ways for home nursing practical training. Ninety-nine second-year nursing students of University A who participated in home-visit training in which they visited single household elderly members of a seniors’ club in a community together with other members of the club. Of the nursing students 35 expressed consent to participate in the study, and we analyzed their training records. The analysis identified five categories of students learning in home-visit training for the elderly: “Awareness of factors leading to an understanding of the elderly”, “Learning about assessments of the overall impression of the subjects”, “Importance of building a mutual trust relationship with the subjects”, “Learning obtained by thinking of the situation of the elderly person as that of oneself”, and “Learning about support for continuous health activities”. Students were learning about the life of the elderly by entering their living place, experiencing the daily life activities of the elderly as the subject of self-help and activities of mutual help of the club members, and comparing the lives of their own as a local resident.
